Utilising a network of authorised and approved waste management facilities, and registered waste carriers, we aim to recycle, reuse, or treat at least 97% of the waste from your subsea decommissioning projects.

NORM Waste Disposal
We decontaminate Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) waste at specialised facilities, packaging sludge and scale for safe offsite disposal. Process effluent is analysed and disposed of per regulations. The total weight of NORM waste is recorded, and a Certificate of Destruction is issued post-incineration, complying with our SEPA Permit.
Advanced Technologies
We use specialised in-house equipment, such as material handlers and excavators with shear attachments, to efficiently manage and reduce decommissioning waste, enhancing safety and minimising manual handling.
Controlled Waste Disposal
We handle controlled waste with Approved Waste Suppliers and Registered Waste Carriers, ensuring materials are segregated for optimal recycling. Each waste load is documented with Transfer or Consignment Notes, and our Environmental Manager tracks all records, which are available upon request.
Waste Accounting and Final Reporting
Phoenix Decom ensures accountability for all waste materials during decommissioning projects.
